The Suffolk Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is celebrating 60 years of sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action.

As we continue to positively impact our community and empower women, we have chosen to honor the Genieve Shelter as our 60th Charter Day Service Project beneficiary. The Genieve Shelter is a beacon of hope that provides a safe refuge and supportive environment for victims of domestic violence. The shelter serves the areas of Isle of Wight County, the City of Smithfield, Southampton County, the City of Suffolk, Surry County, and the City of Franklin.

We are raising funds for the Genieve Shelter through a “hotel stay for 2” raffle. Your raffle ticket purchase enters you for a chance to win a two-night stay for two at the luxurious Renaissance Portsmouth-Norfolk Waterfront Hotel or a one-night stay for two at the Hilton Garden Inn Suffolk Riverfront Hotel. All proceeds from the raffle will support the shelter.
