Support Disaster Survivors with SALT

Support Disaster Survivors with Serving and Loving Together Disaster Recovery (SALT)

When a storm passes, the hardest days often begin. Families are left navigating loss, uncertainty, and the long work of putting life back together. Serving and Loving Together Disaster Recovery (SALT) exists to walk beside disaster survivors from the 2024 storm season and future disasters, offering steady support, practical assistance, and compassionate care throughout the recovery journey.

Your gift helps meet real and evolving needs, whether that means providing essential items, helping families stabilize after displacement, or working alongside trusted faith-based and community partners to ensure no one faces recovery alone. SALT focuses on the gaps where help is hardest to find, responding with flexibility, dignity, and care when it matters most.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, SALT is committed to serving with integrity and transparency. Donations allow us to respond quickly, adapt as circumstances change, and remain present with families for the long road to recovery, not just in the immediate aftermath of disaster.

Together, we can bring hope, restore dignity, and remind survivors they are not forgotten.  Thank you for standing with families as they heal and rebuild.

Our Mission

At Serving and Loving Together Disaster Recovery (SALT), we are called to be salt and light in times of crisis (Matthew 5:13–16). Our mission is to walk alongside disaster survivors with compassion, providing expert case management and consultation services that help individuals, families, and communities rebuild their lives.

Through faith-driven support, strategic partnerships, and a commitment to long-term recovery, we bring hope, healing, and restoration to those affected by disaster.

Serving and Loving Together Disaster Recovery, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
