AFF Participant Paddle Day - Marina Park Saturday, December 14, 2024 The Adaptive Freedom Foundation is excited to present the annual Santa Paddle in Newport Beach, California—a festive, community-driven event that combines holiday cheer with adaptive sports. This unique celebration invites paddlers of all abilities to don their Holiday gear and take to the water, promoting inclusivity and raising awareness for adaptive recreation. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or a first-time participant, the Santa Paddle is a fun and inspiring way to celebrate the season while supporting individuals with disabilities. Join us for a day of camaraderie, holiday spirit, and the joy of paddling in one of Southern California’s most scenic waterways!  Either join a master paddler aboard one of our WASUP (Wheelchair Adapted Stand-Up Paddle) boards for adaptive paddling alongside a team of buddy paddlers.  Or, glide and play on a traditional foam paddle board with volunteer assistant that will get you out on the water at your comfort and skill level. Your adventure includes:  Expert guidance from our friendly volunteers  A safe and supportive environment  The chance to challenge yourself and have a blast! Refundable Registration Fee: $25  Choose any of our five 45-minute sessions beginning at 10:00 AM Here's where your registration fee becomes extra special:  You can choose to donate your fee to support our mission of inclusive water sports  Or, have it refunded upon check-in if you prefer Spots will fill up fast, so don't miss out on this unforgettable day of "Hope in Hearts and Smiles on Faces". We kindly ask all paddlers to arrive 15 minutes before their session to check in and ensure a smooth start to the fun. Cancellations for refunds must be made by phone 48 hours in advance of your scheduled start time. This will allow us to add participants from the wait-list. Join us and ride the waves of happiness!
