ABOUT PUBLIC ART AND THE MURAL PROGRAM
The Arti Gras Public Art committee aspires to use the platform of public art to build community and increase social connections throughout the greater Saint Albans area. Through creativity, we hope to improve public spaces by encouraging the rehabilitation of historic and non-historic structures and developing incentives for good design.
Several building owners throughout town have expressed interest in murals. Our committee will facilitate the addition of murals throughout the greater Saint Albans area by working with the City of Saint Albans, the Historical Society, local artists and business owners, as well as other interested parties.

ABOUT ARTI GRAS
Initially established in 2015 as a festival geared toward integrating our beloved city's arts scene, business community, musicians and our families, Arti Gras’ mission is to showcase our fair city’s thriving and incredibly vibrant art scene. Arti Gras is a program of the Alban Arts Center. Funds raised as part of the campaign will be used to facilitate murals and eventually other public art throughout the greater Saint Albans Area. Gifts may be designated for specific murals or other art projects.
Full sponsorship of individual projects will:
 Be acknowledged on the Arti Gras website.
 Be recognized at the next Alban Arts Awards assembly.
 Receive a framed certificate stating the recipient is an advocate of Public Arts.
 Be featured in News Releases and Programs.
