Help Rebuild the Heart of Our Community: The Spiritual Gospel Healing Church

In the small, tightly-knit community of Chak 71# Kokraanwala Rahmat Town in Faisalabad, Pakistan, the Spiritual Gospel Healing Church stands as a beacon of hope and unity. Recently, during a severe storm, our community faced a moment of despair as the roof of our beloved church was completely torn off in the midst of a worship service. Despite the rain pouring down and the cold biting at their skin, the congregation’s faith did not waver; they continued to worship, standing strong in prayer and song under the open sky.
The church, a newer structure with a single-story design, was in the process of having its permanent roof installed when the tragedy struck. The building, which serves as the heart of our community, hosts general worship services attended by men, women, and children who come together to share in their faith and support one another.
The impact of the storm extends beyond the physical damage. Since the roof was blown away, our community has had no alternative but to meet under a temporary tarp-like covering. This makeshift solution leaves our congregation exposed to the elements, enduring the chill and rain, yet their spirit remains unbroken. They have continued to host worship services and community activities, demonstrating resilience and unwavering commitment.
Our church is more than just a building; it is the central hub for outreach in our community. Led by compassionate individuals like myself, Kashif Bhatti, the church runs a vital program that feeds poor children, offering not just spiritual nourishment but also essential physical sustenance. Additionally, it hosts bereavement support groups, providing a sanctuary for those in grief.
We are reaching out to kind-hearted donors to help us raise $5,000 for materials to construct a new, durable roof. The labor will be provided by the dedicated men of our congregation, who are committed to rebuilding stronger than before.
