Dragonfly Mental Health

There is a mental illness epidemic among those in academia and for far too long we've sacrificed our health, happiness, and sometimes even our lives unnecessarily for the sake of the disciplines we love. Five years ago, a group of international students, postdocs, faculty and ex-academics stood up and said "Enough!" We are a non-profit dedicated to cultivating excellent mental health among academics worldwide through education, crushing stigma, research, and community building. We envision a world where academics take care of their minds like elite athletes take care of their bodies: proactively and preventatively so we can perform at our highest level and thrive while doing so.

What's the special occasion?

Wendy Ingram, co-founder and CEO of Dragonfly Mental Health, is returning to the Bay Area and looks forward to connecting with supporters old and new! She's in town for only one week to deliver a brand new workshop to the MCB Department: a three day Train-the-Trainer "Community Wellness Champion" program and to film UCB Psychology Department Faculty for a new Anti-stigma Film.
