My dream of creating a Science Centre began when I was just 8 years old.
As a child, I spent countless hours exploring the forests and rivers, captivated by the birds, plants, and wildlife I encountered. Those magical days instilled a deep love for nature and inspired me to dream of a place where I could teach children about the wonders of the natural world.

That childhood dream became my life’s mission. I pursued a career in environmental conservation, becoming a trained Forester and Conservation Biologist. In 2011, I founded the Science Initiative for Environmental Conservation and Education (SCIENCE) to connect people with nature and foster environmental stewardship. Just one year later, we opened the Heritage Museum and Science Center, a space dedicated to educating students and adults across St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Sadly, we lost our rented building when it was sold, leaving SCIENCE without a home. But 14 years later, our small, but dedicated team of conservation, education and administration specialists remain determined and stronger than ever. Today, SCIENCE continues to inspire and educate communities, but we urgently need a permanent space to expand our impact.

Help us make this dream a reality. Your support will allow us to build a place where children, students, and communities can come together to learn about the beauty and importance of the natural world.
I would like to extend special thanks to Mr. Ben Olewine for his generous contribution, which laid the foundation for this cause, as well as BirdsCaribbean, Peg Abbott and Naturalist Journeys, Wesley Edwards and all of our wonderful supporters and donors. Finally, heartfelt appreciation to the other members of the SCIENCE team and family who, day after day, inspire and advance the dream and the cause.
With gratitude,
