South Central LAMP's Paddle Raise for Field Trips!

One of the most powerful parts of learning for children is the opportunity to experience the world beyond the classroom. For many of the families we serve at South Central LAMP, visits to museums, science centers, and cultural spaces are simply not accessible due to financial barriers. That’s why field trips are so important—they open doors to discovery, curiosity, and joy, allowing children to see, touch, explore, and imagine in ways that deepen their learning and expand their sense of what’s possible. Thanks to a generous anonymous donor, we have received a $10,000 matching gift, and tonight we hope to raise an additional $10,000 to support field trips for our children and families. These trips will include visits to Kidspace Children’s Museum and other inspiring places where families can learn and explore together. For our students, these outings create moments of wonder, shared family experiences, and lasting memories that strengthen both learning and connection.
