Saint Frances of Rome School is participating on its fall fundraiser: #Take5 Community Pledge.
This activity encourages families to raise funds for scholarships. It also teaches students to take care of their environment, be kind to themselves and others, encourage them to improve their literacy skills, be appreciative and give back.
All students are participating with their friends and classmates throughout the Thanksgiving holiday on the #Take5 Community Bingo Pledge. The bingo Card has different categories and each category has different tasks to help me and my family build community.
Environment Category: Helps us be aware of our environment and understand why it is important for our community to be clean.
Giving Category: Teaches us that it is not only about receiving, but also giving and to being grateful for what we have and for the people that help us.
Kindness Category: Helps us to be mindful, caring and trusting. This also helps with being respectful to everyone around us, as we are to imitate Jesus’ life and He is all about love.
Literacy Category: helps us build our readiness and writing skills. It also helps us learn more about the Bible.
Thankful Category: shows us to appreciate what we have and who we have in our life.
