In the United States alone, up to 9000 pregnant Jewish women terminate *annually* because they are not equipped- emotionally and/or financially- to have their unexpected baby. Most women calling SHIFRA don’t *want* to terminate- but they need a lot of help if they are going to have their babies. SHIFRA offers professional counseling and targeted financial aid that saves lives, equips moms and builds strong Jewish families.

Since our inception, we have helped more than 300 SHIFRA Moms through crisis- touching every major American Jewish metropolitan area. Most have called us recently- we have DOUBLED in size in last two years.
