On November 30th, 2024, Starfish International warmly invites you to join our virtual festival—a celebration of 15 years of educating youth, creating impact through nurturing Africa's abundance, and fostering sustainable transformation that has transcended the continent’s boundaries. This is not just any event; it is a chance to join us as we honor the launch of the 50for50 Campaign, aimed at raising $50,000 in celebration of our beloved Co-Founder, Mam Yassin Sarr's 50th birthday.

To reach our $50,000 goal this year, we will take you on a journey to experience the heart of West African heritage and royalty. For 15 years, Starfish mentors have supported over 2,000 students at risk of dropping out due to socioeconomic barriers. Our mentors are the backbone of our holistic educational programs, working year-round to guide and empower these students in their academic, emotional, and self-sufficiency goals. By investing in the mentors, you are directly providing over 400 students with a tutor, career counselor, and advocate who inspires and empowers them to succeed at the next level.

Expect a lineup of extraordinary West African performances, featuring spoken word, music and dance, storytelling, masquerades, and partner and mentor narratives, with costumes that embody Africa's royalty. Additionally, we will honor 15 extraordinary families and individuals whose consistent generosity has given wings to the Starfish dream.
