Thank you for considering a donation to the Saint Ignatius Chicago Rowing Operating Fund. Founded in 1996, SICR continues to provide the students of Saint Ignatius College Prep the opportunity to participate in the sport of rowing. SICR is the largest co-ed sport on campus, sporting over 100 athletes competing each season across three squads: Coed Novice, Varsity Boys, and Varsity Girls. Our program teaches young men and women the values of hard work, dedication and teamwork and our continued success is rooted in the efforts of our athletes, coaches, parents, and board members. The team has grown significantly over the past 28 years, gaining regional and national recognition.
SICR is a non-profit organization (501 (c) (3), which is governed by a board of parent volunteers. SICR depends on athlete rowing fees, fundraisers, and donations to sustain operations, including financial aid so that rowing at Ignatius is accessible to any interested student.
Your donation to the SICR Operating Fund will support club operations including equipment maintenance, coaches’ salaries, financial aid, transportation and regatta expenses. We truly appreciate your support!
