About This Fund

The Founding Fund supports the foundational work required to responsibly design and launch Chosen Preparatory Academy, an independent secondary school currently in development in Houston.

Before construction, before enrollment, before opening day, there is critical institutional work that must be done well.

Phase I of the Founding Fund focuses on building the internal infrastructure that ensures long-term excellence and sustainability, including:

• Governance development and board formation
• Financial systems and accounting oversight
• Risk assessment and compliance planning
• Legal and regulatory readiness
• Strategic design and operational planning

These investments do not always receive public attention, but they are what make responsible growth possible.

Our goal for Phase I is $100,000. This amount allows us to complete key readiness milestones and move confidently into the next stage of development.

As we meet each phase goal, the Founding Fund will expand to support curriculum development, faculty recruitment, and ultimately campus planning.
