SITC Almanac

Stories in the Cemetery is currently working on a new concept; a Paranormal Almanac available for paranormal investigators and researchers to have valid information to help predict the best parts of the day, month, and year for a paranormal investigation based on scientific conditions including lunar phases, K-indexing, weather conditions, and tools used.

This Almanac will be based on information gathered during paranormal investigations performed by Stories in the Cemetery's Interactive Ghost Hunting Experience in Charleston, South Carolina. This experience allows up to ten guest ghost hunters to use our paranormal tools in proven haunted locations. During the experience, guest ghost hunters are collecting and learning to interpret the data provided by their assigned device. This is a two and a half hour nightly event.

After each experience, Stories in the Cemetery begins uploading all media from the used devices and adds in the real-time notes taken by the Lead Investigator for a full scientific report. This full report of each investigation is then uploaded to the Stories in the Cemetery website and accessible to each guest ghost hunter. These full reports are separated by month and provide extra information like the most active investigations for the month, relevant dates to the haunted spaces visited  and a Field Guide to help the guest navigate the media.

The guests are also provided a score of their investigation detailing the level of "how haunted" their experience produced based on the SITC Scoring System, a system designed by Stories in the Cemetery.

With all of this collected data, Stories in the Cemetery began studying these results as a whole based on lunar phases, weather, K-indexing, number of investigators and tools used. This is very VALUABLE information for paranormal investigators for possible predictions of the best time for a paranormal investigation based on the conditions and tools used.

This Almanac will be produced as an annual publication and will be a collaborative effort that will include articles from paranormal topic experts in the field of tips, tricks, and methodology in the paranormal field (which means we'll need a few writers, too!) Feel free to reach out with your paranormal topic idea/article to [email protected].

Your support for this project will allow Stories in the Cemetery  publishing costs as well as showing support to a paranormal company that focuses on nothing more than making this field easier to navigate and pushes the envelope forward to us gaining a better understanding of how and why paranormal phenomena occurs. Your support helps keep Stories in the Cemetery funded as well as pursuing a deeper purpose of simply entertaining guest ghost hunters, but also to put the data and efforts into the Interactive Ghost Hunting Experience in the hands of other paranormal investigators and researchers for further study.

Stories in the Cemetery is not a television show and will never fabricate evidence for the sake of entertainment. The passion we pour into providing accurate readings and interpretations allows our fans to truly get a sense of the paranormal and helps their critical thinking skills to go outside the box.

The plans for the 2025 Stories in the Cemetery Paranormal Almanac will hold all the data from 195 paranormal investigations in 2023 along with all investigations from 2024, articles, and analysis of the data.

The SITC Scoring System is available in the Paranormal Investigation Workbook on amazon. We just published our second edition for 2024 in January of this year.
