Add to Calendar 2024-11-06 12:00:29 2024-11-06 13:30:44 America/New_York With All the Saints What do all the saints have in common? …Enjoy a light lunch and time to learn about and prepare for the experience of death from the perspectives of a Funeral Director, Estate Lawyer, and Episcopal priest. Bring your questions and concerns, invite a friend or loved one, and step out on faith that ‘knowledge is power.’ All speakers are unpaid; a $10 suggested donation will help to cover the cost of lunch. Mr. Bill Flooks is a second generation funeral director who has been licensed by the state of New York for more than 45 years. He currently owns and supervises the Beecher Flooks Funeral Home in Pleasantville, where he works alongside his son, Billy, third generation. Bill is active in the Pleasantville community as a member of the Pleasantville Lions Club, is also currently the President of the Pleasantville Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Development Advisory Board as well as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Hospice of Westchester. Christine Klein, PC, has more than 25 years of legal experience in family law, including estate planning and answering questions related to wills, trusts, living wills, and health care proxies. As someone who has accompanied others on their death journeys and in their grief and loss, Rev. Chris will offer insights from the Christian tradition about how to anticipate, cope with, and navigate issues surrounding death and dying, including funeral planning and anticipatory spiritual care.
