What is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is a global day of generosity that follows Black Friday and Cyber Monday, inspiring people to give back to their communities in meaningful ways. It’s a chance to come together and make an impact on causes that matter.

Last year, Street Medics Austin focused our Giving Tuesday efforts on acquiring essential training equipment to expand access to life-saving skills in underserved communities. This year, we’re shifting our focus to Winter Preparedness for Austin’s Unhoused Community.

With your support, we aim to build and distribute 200 First Aid kits containing:

• Sting relief wipes
• Large hand/body warmers
• Large adhesive dressings
• Mylar emergency blankets
• Large bathing wipes
• Tweezers
• Sanitizing hand wipes
• Antibiotic ointment
• Antiseptic wipes
• Assorted bandaids
• Drawstring bags
