The Pick Up the Tempo! Fundraising Campaign is a game changing initiative aimed at supporting the Southern Delaware Orchestra (SODELO), a vibrant musical organization dedicated to fostering a love for orchestral music and enriching the cultural landscape of our region. By contributing to this pivotal fundraiser, you will directly impact the orchestra's ability to continue to provide exceptional musical experiences to the people of Southern Delaware.

Our growth from a 25 person string ensemble to a 70 musician symphony orchestra
Growing our audiences from 250 to 1,200 for each program.
Extending our impact across the region, from Lewes to Ocean View to Georgetown

To date, we have met our expenses with ticket sales, grants, and DoMore 24, an annual fundraiser, but we are growing dramatically and in need of your help.

Your generous tax deductible donation will help cover growing expenses that are vital to the orchestra's operations and growth, including basic expenses for our talented music director and soloists, rental of concert venues, purchase of music and instruments, and marketing and media, as well as aspirational but needed funds for a future senior staff position to own and improve operations, accumulation of a year’s reserve operating expenses and more.
