Hi, my name is Cora, and theater and singing have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started with Zack Theater when I was very young, participating in as many school productions as possible and getting involved in every theater opportunity I could find. I've never wanted to do anything besides singing, dancing, and acting.
Some of my closest friendships have been formed through theater. I first heard about SOPA from several friends, and after seeing their production of Newsies, I was impressed. The performance was outstanding, and I immediately felt drawn to the group's vibe and Ms. Emily, the director and owner.
What stood out to me was how hard everyone worked, and I truly appreciated that. Being part of SOPA has been incredibly encouraging because people with the same interests and goals surround me. The talent here is fantastic, and everyone gets a chance to shine.
As I prepare for Hadestown, I've dedicated every free moment to work on it because I know how important this show is to my castmates and our director. I want to show them that I'm a hard worker, too. Recently, I had the chance to see Hadestown on Broadway in New York, and it only deepened my passion for theater. The music, dancing, lights, and costumes all woven together fueled my desire to do even more.
I'm excited to continue this journey and see where God leads me. Thank you.
