'Tis the Season of Giving - Let’s make a difference that lasts a lifetime!

The holiday season can be filled with incredible joy and profound sorrow. For some people, the holidays can be a harsh reminder of what they don’t have – connection with family, the means to buy gifts, or a place to call home.

At Sound Pathways we believe that no one should be left out during this season of compassion and kindness. We created the Holiday Giving Campaign to remind our clients and their families that during this season, their light is seen, respected, and celebrated.

In addition to giving holiday gifts to families in need, we also aim to raise $5,000 to help stabilize these families and be a part of something remarkable in the year ahead.

Low-income and homeless families are finding it extremely difficult to find and maintain stable housing in the current market without financial assistance. Even with subsidies, the costs associated with securing housing, including application fees, first and last month's rent, security deposits, initial utility setup, and furnishing a home, often exceed the funds they have available.

Overcoming these obstacles can be as simple as:

$25 for copy of birth certificate or new social security card as for housing application.
$43 fees for the rental application, credit and background checks.
$160 will cover 3 months of subsidized housing fees to prevent the loss of housing.
$400 provides 4-5 nights of emergency motel vouchers while family is awaiting access to housing.

Every family possesses an inherent human right to secure housing, and you have the opportunity to be a champion in assisting families in dire need of stability.
