This April, I’m fundraising for Self-Reclaimed in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) 2025. Self-Reclaimed is a survivor-led nonprofit based in Chicago and Evanston, IL that creates space for healing, empowerment, and cultural change to end sexual assault and domestic violence. This year, they’re raising $10,000 to fund their most powerful initiative yet: The SR-EXA Facilitator Certification Program. Your donation directly fuels: free therapeutic healing spaces for survivors of SA and DV, training for Chicagoland facilitators to offer safe, brave, transformative spaces across the country, survivor-centered operations that are shaping the future of healing justice I believe in the urgency of their work—and I believe in a world where survivors don’t just survive, but thrive.
