Tool Library- Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday is that delightful day where you get to sprinkle a little cash on the causes that tug at your heartstrings! And yes, we at HAF are no strangers to requesting those dollars. It’s true—our organization thrives on the kindhearted contributions of wonderful folks like you. So, as we approach this Giving Tuesday on December 2, we're reaching out once more for an incredibly worthy cause: our beloved Tool Lending Library!

Pioneered by Kim Parker in 2022, this brainchild was born from her zeal for home improvement and not a big living space. Fast forward to now—three years later—and our library boasts over 800 tools, serves 200 members, and relies on the dedication of about 50 volunteers. Pretty impressive, right? But here’s the catch: we’re in need! As a charity fueled purely by tool and monetary donations, we’re always looking to refresh our inventory, repair aging tools, and stay current with trends.

So this Giving Tuesday, why not lend us a hand? A small donation or even signing up for a membership would go a long way in helping us hit our goal of $2,000!
