HSA dues help fund a variety of initiatives and activities that benefit the school community, such as:
1. Community Building Events: These are activities designed to bring students, parents, and staff together, fostering a sense of community and connection. Examples include school fairs, family nights, and social gatherings.
2. Teacher Appreciation: Funds are used to recognize and show gratitude to teachers for their hard work. This might involve events like teacher appreciation lunches, gift cards, or special recognition ceremonies.
3. Enhancing the Student Experience: This can include funding for extracurricular programs, classroom supplies, and special projects that enrich students' educational experiences.
These contributions are essential for supporting and enhancing the school environment and making it a positive place for everyone involved.
All families are asked to actively contribute to our school community financially, through volunteer time, and by helping raise funds for critical needs. Each family is asked to donate a minimum of $25 and each parent is asked to volunteer 10 hours per school year (1 hour per month). If schedules don’t allow this, we ask families who can afford to do so to contribute more financially.
