I’m beyond excited to be returning home to Summer Stock Austin for my fourth season!! This incredible opportunity means the world to me, not just because of my new leadership role as Company Manager, but because of the impact Summer Stock Austin has had on me over the years. I’ve grown immensely through my time at SSA, taking on a variety of roles that have shaped who I am today. I began as a member of the stage management team for Bring It On in 2021, then served as Assistant Company Manager for the 2022 and 2023 seasons. Each position has strengthened my leadership, organization, and communication skills, allowing me to thrive as I pursue a Stage Management degree at Point Park University. These experiences have not only deepened my understanding of professional theatre operations but have also opened doors to new opportunities, including work with other respected theatre companies and industry professionals in the Austin area and across the country. SSA is more than just a theatre company, it’s a vibrant community of high school and college students working alongside seasoned theatre professionals. The relationships I’ve built here include not only invaluable industry connections but also some of my closest, lifelong friends. Being part of such a supportive and creative environment has shaped me in lasting ways, both personally and professionally. Because of SSA, I’ve grown into the theatre artist and leader I am today.
