We are so close to turning this into the most successful Giving Tuesday campaign we have ever had. Please consider making a small donation to help us make this our best one yet.

As a grassroots Recovery Community Center, every dollar goes a long way:

$25 provides an individual or family member with a scheduled support session to help navigate their recovery journey.
$100 helps to provide one month of 1-on-1 peer recovery coaching.
$500 helps to provide an individual transitioning out of treatment with 2 weeks rent at a recovery residence and 60 days of 1-on-1 peer support.

A message from the Director:

Last week was extremely special in my household. This year we welcomed two new family members to the party and despite living in different cities and different states, all of us were able to come together and celebrate Thanksgiving.

It wasn't always like this... 7 years ago I spent Thanksgiving in residential treatment and, over the years since, individual journeys and life's challenges have kept some of us away from the dinner table... but this year it did not. This year we were all here.

Three of us are in long term recovery but I like to think we all are. Substance Use Disorder is a disease that affects the family and I believe families recover together. My family is recovering together... and today, I have the opportunity to break the cycle and provide my son a home that is free of substance use.

At South Shore Peer Recovery, we talk a lot about the ripple effect of recovery. Recovery has rippled through my family in so many ways and this picture is proof.

Today I am the Director of South Shore Peer Recovery, a nonprofit Recovery Community Center on the South Shore that works to help individuals and families find and sustain recovery together. My story is one of so many, and I love my job because it gives me the opportunity to do for others what someone did for me.

This Giving Tuesday, and holiday season, we are asking that you consider making a donation to help us give the gift of recovery to someone new.

Because I believe in our mission and what we do, I am personally matching 50% of donations up to the first $1,000.
