S.T.A.R.S. Camp 2026

In 2026, S.T.A.R.S. Camp will be celebrating 24 years as a unique, transformative program for children with severe emotional disturbances (SED). S.T.A.R.S. stands for Strength, Teamwork, Attitude, Relationships, and Self-Esteem, qualities that are at the heart of all Pawnee YCS programs and essential for helping children grow into contributing, resilient adults.

For many campers, S.T.A.R.S. Camp is the only camp they can attend due to the severity of their symptoms. Through structured activities, therapeutic support, and skill-building experiences, children gain confidence, form meaningful relationships, and learn tools that support their mental and behavioral health.
