Help Engage Learning 'Wrap Up' 2025!
Engage Learning empowers students to become confident problem-solvers, creative innovators, and resilient individuals by putting on their 'maker mindset'. We are reimagining what quality education and instruction looks like for Oklahoma's young learners. Our programs provide opportunities for our youngest learners to practice critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity - all vital skills required in today's and tomorrow's workforce.
Before we close our books for the 2025 year, we are asking for your support as we step into this next year. As you consider a donation to Engage Learning, we would love to 'wrap up' how our year went thanks to the generosity of our communities!
Engage Learning's Year At-a-Glance
Student Engagement:
Engage Learning believes that a quality STEAM education should be accessible to all, rigorous, and - our students' favorite - fun! Here are a few ways that our students were served in 2025:
- Over 3,500 students got to experience the science behind sports in our Devon SportsLab program! These students worked with our staff, student-athletes, and trainers from the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University, and the University of Tulsa to see how STEAM concepts play out in their favorite sports and receive individual skills coaching along the way.
- 2,450 students participated in our remote Impact Model and STEM Maker Camps! These two programs allow students to receive live, virtual STEM instruction from Engage Learning at no cost to the school. Participants receive comprehensive instruction in 3D-modeling / printing, circuitry, and coding. We dedicate these programs to serving communities that would not otherwise have access to local STEM programming.
- Over 200 students and their families came out to our Family STEAM Nights. These were placed all across rural Oklahoma to ensure that our neighbors outside of the OKC metro could get in on some STEAM fun. These community-centric nights brought the whole family together to get hands-on and a little messy with multiple STEAM activity booths! Students - and even parents - were able to imagine being an engineer, a CAD operator, or even a construction scientist!
- Engage Learning donated time to serve over 500 students in support of other non-profit or school-led initiatives. Declining school budgets and allocations can be a barrier to provide students meaningful STEAM experiences; we offer our engagements at no cost when we can to serve our schools.
- We are excited to share that we delivered direct instruction to over 6,500 students across over 45 Oklahoman counties this year. including programs that were not mentioned!

Educator Engagement:
Education is a communal effort. We recognize that classroom teachers hold the most responsibility in a student's formal education - we are here to help. The STEAM and Maker education space is always changing. There are always new pedagogical practices and teaching tools emerging, and classroom educators can find it difficult to know what is best for their students. Engage Learning offers clarity to our educators. Our professional development sessions focus on getting our educators both comfortable and proficient with the most impactful STEAM tools and best practices so they can be confident delivering instruction in their schools.
- 71 educators across New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma received training from Engage Learning instructors at the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation STEM Summit. Participating teachers practiced and honed their skills with a multitude of STEM products that are nationally standardized.
- All 36 Oklahoma City Public School STEAM and GATE elementary educators took part in a series of three professional development sessions over 3D-modeling, slicing, and printing. We are proud to share that all educators have reported either operating a 3D-printer by themselves successfully or feel confident in preparing 3D-printing lessons for their students for the first time. These educators also participated in a listening session where they advocated for changes in school climate, clear standardization, and increased engagement opportunities for their students to lawmakers, industry leaders, and education administrators in the room.
- Over 60 educators from schools participating in the Impact Model and STEM Maker Camps received professional development hours and co-teaching assistance from our instructors. These two programs provide a foundation for new and merging STEAM educators in a school to follow and continue to develop themselves. Educators that have completed the program get to keep all STEAM products and curricula related to the program for their own use and receive enough consumables to continue the program for a year. Engage Learning provides ongoing support and consultation for teachers that are both currently in or have already completed the programs.
- Engage Learning's staff has committed over 3,500 hours serving classroom educators across three different states this year! We love our teachers and we cannot wait to continue working alongside them in 2026.

Make a Difference Today
While we reflect and celebrate the accomplishments of our students this year, there is still much work to be done to change the state of education in Oklahoma. A charitable gift today allows Engage Learning to continue delivering programming to our students, continue partnering with schools and educators, and build up our capacity to expand our reach to more communities. Your generosity today could be the change to a student's future tomorrow.
