ENGAGE students like Joshua, a 6^th grader challenged by autism and ADHD. We at YO-STEM found a way for Joshua to participate in robotics, he became our coder, and we all won big. His coding skills helped Team Radium win trophies at two local school competitions this year and garner a special judges award at the state level!

EDUCATE kids who aren’t even aware of their options. Kids like AyMarri, who just knew he liked science. Now, after two years in YO-STEM activities, AyMarri has competed in the state and national VEX Robotics championships and has plans to become an aerospace engineer.

EMPOWER girls, so they have the confidence and freedom to explore their gifts. Fifth grader Lilia’s dad told us, “My daughter really enjoys YO-STEM because it doesn’t bring the pressures of school. She can have fun without the worries of being graded, and she can legitimately explore.”
