Southwest Idaho Junior Disc Golf Championship-Support the Next Generation of Disc Golf

The Southwest Idaho Junior Disc Golf Championship is a youth disc golf event created to give junior players the opportunity to compete, learn, and grow within the sport.

This tournament is completely free for junior participants, made possible through the generosity of sponsors and donors who believe in supporting youth athletics and outdoor recreation.

How This Fundraiser Works

This event is organized by an independent Tournament Director and is fundraising under the charitable umbrella of Idaho Disc Golf Alliance (IDGA), a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the growth and sustainability of disc golf.

IDGA provides the nonprofit structure that allows donations to be received, documented, and managed in accordance with nonprofit financial standards.

What Your Donation Supports

Funds raised will help cover the costs of hosting the Junior Championship, including:

• junior player packs and awards

• course preparation and event logistics

• youth disc golf equipment

• tournament infrastructure

• youth participation initiatives

Our goal is simple: remove financial barriers so young players can participate in the sport. 

Administrative Support

Under IDGA’s Tournament Director Service Program, 10% of funds raised support nonprofit administration, including financial oversight, donation receipting, accounting, and compliance.

The remaining funds support the youth disc golf initiative associated with this event.

If More Funds Are Raised Than Needed

If fundraising exceeds the cost of hosting the Southwest Idaho Juniors Disc Golf Championship, the remaining funds will stay within IDGA’s Youth Development initiatives and may support future youth disc golf programs such as:

• youth tournaments

• junior clinics

• school programs

• youth equipment initiatives

This ensures that every dollar raised continues supporting the development of junior disc golfers.
