Sage's Final Resting

Today we (with Fenton River Vet) made the difficult decision that it was time to let Sage go. Sage has been battling septic lamintis for months, his back right foot was swollen, and some of the bone was dead. Antibiotics worked initially, but then stopped working. Sage was just 5 years old, unfortunately large farm pigs do not have bodies that are meant to last. Sage was the best boy and made it easy to care for him, never getting angry getting massive injections in his bum. The last few weeks, Sage really started to struggle getting around. It became obvious that his body was giving up. Thank you for contributing to his final end of life costs.
