A crisis that has displaced **millions** of innocent lives, leaving them vulnerable to unimaginable suffering. It is a crisis fueled by corporate greed, exploitation, and the insatiable hunger for raw minerals and resources that power our modern technological advancements.

The Unseen Tragedy

In the vast expanse of the Congo, where lush rainforests meet rugged mountains, a silent war rages. Armed groups vie for control over precious minerals like gold, coltan, and diamonds. These minerals, extracted from the earth with little regard for human rights or environmental impact, find their way into our smartphones, laptops, and electric cars. But at what cost?

The DRC has witnessed a staggering **6.9 million people** displaced by conflict, making it one of the world's largest humanitarian crises⁴. Families torn apart, villages razed, and lives shattered—this is the grim reality faced by those caught in the crossfire. Warlords and corporations alike exploit the land, leaving devastation in their wake.

The Human Toll

Behind these numbers lie stories of resilience and heartache. Women raped, children orphaned, and communities torn apart. The very soil that should sustain life now harbors violence and despair. The displaced—our fellow humans—struggle to find safety, clean water, and a semblance of normalcy. They flee their homes, carrying trauma and hopelessness on their weary shoulders.

- **Materials and Donations**: From tents to blankets, every donation matters. These simple items become lifelines for families seeking refuge. They shield against the elements and offer a sense of security.
