Our goal is to save orphans and empower cities to better take of their children. We have been functioning in Houston, Texas and Bogota, Colombia since 2007 and opened our orphanage in Soacha, Colombia in 2020. Attached is a short introduction of the work we've done. We have created a curriculum to help the orphans we work with become more successful outside of the orphanage than inside for truly sustainable transformation. Our primary plan is to help the children through the 4 C's:

 

Care: We address their physical and emotional needs to bring immediate relief to them. We do this by moving them into our home, giving them food, an on-staff psychologist to help them deal with the trauma, and staff to help bring them back to health.

 

Christ: The ultimate need is spiritual and we bring them that through weekly talks online with us, weekly spiritual mentorship through older girls who live in the city, and quarterly in person visits. The children are all given Bibles and challenged to read the Bible and pray daily.

 

Community: One of the greatest reasons for cyclical poverty is that the poor do not have relationships. In Colombia this is a huge deal as you have to be rejected by your 7 closest relationships to be considered adoptable. We help connect them with strong relationships so that their transition into adulthood is sustainable.

 

Career: We help the children discover their purpose (Purpose Path) and explore different careers (through events like our career modeling shows where the kids can dress up like the careers they want to be when they grow older).

 

We are also creating a Purpose Path that empowers the children to find their God-given purpose and begin to pursue it while they are still in the home. Many of our projects are dependent upon staff and resources. We have a Research & Development department that helps us dream up strategies to help the poor globally and orphans specifically.
