Story

This year, Castro Valley High School launched its very first School Chapter with MOWAC! CVHS-MOWAC is working to spread awareness about senior food insecurity in Alameda County. This club is dedicated to supporting the Meals on Wheels programs in providing meals for senior citizens in the community.

Since the pandemic began, our Meals on Wheels programs are serving more than double the number of home-delivered meals. In response, CVHS-MOWAC and CVHS's COVID Recovery Club have partnered in this fundraiser to support all 5 Meals on Wheels Programs throughout Alameda County. We hope you will consider joining us in our efforts to ensure the seniors in our community continue receiving meals and companionship during this challenging time.

About CVHS's COVID Recovery Club: We aim to bring awareness to areas that have been heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. We strive to supply information and volunteer opportunities to our club members, as well as the community, to provide ways we can help out with the recovery process.
