Why I'm Fundraising: I'm volunteering for Scleroderma United because I want to make a difference in the lives of people who are affected by this rare and chronic disease. I believe that by raising awareness, providing support, and advocating for research, we can help improve the quality of life and outcomes for the scleroderma community.

About Scleroderma United: Scleroderma United is an international 501(c)(3) nonprofit connecting and empowering people with the rare autoimmune disease scleroderma. All 45 of Scleroderma United's Board Members are volunteers, and 100% of your donation goes toward our mission of serving the patient community. Our primary initiatives include our Scleroderma Stories publication (which has reached over 10,000 people in 78 countries) and Patient-Led Education Program. In particular, we are fundraising for our development of the first-ever online course for children with scleroderma to better understand the illness and learn how to navigate life with scleroderma.
