Reiki will guide what is present in the group to explore, to sit with. Over decades of practice, teaching, and exploration, Fokke has come to experience Reiki not as something to define, but as something to live. His path has been shaped by a deep engagement with the roots, symbols, and essence of Reiki—allowing understanding to emerge through direct experience rather than explanation.

BIO: Born in the Netherlands in 1945, Fokke Brink has lived a life shaped by exploration, service, and deep spiritual inquiry. Before Reiki, his path included work as a social worker, policeman, and psycho-hypno-reincarnation therapist—each experience contributing to the depth he brings to his teaching today.

Since Reiki found him in 1984, receiving first and second degree from Inger Droog (Wanja Twan Lineage) and being initiated as a Master by Phyllis Lei Furumoto in 1987, Reiki has been his “Highway of Life.” Guided by a profound curiosity about Reiki’s origins and meaning, Fokke followed a path of discovery that led him into the study of Japanese arts, including calligraphy and seal carving, where he developed a distinctive personal style.

His journey has taken him around the world—teaching Reiki and special Reiki Symbol Calligraphy Workshops across Europe, Russia, and beyond—while also returning to Japan, introducing Phyllis Lei Furumoto to the Japanese Reiki community 1997 and to deepen his connection to Reiki’s roots. Through encounters with masters across traditions and cultures, Fokke’s work reflects a lived experience of unity, creativity, and devotion to the essence of Reiki.
