To celebrate my 8th year of sobriety which began in May of 2014, on May 14, 2022, I am attempting to complete my first Ultra Marathon Distance Obstacle Course Race. What could be a selfish endeavor with the hours of training is instead going to be an opportunity to give someone the same chance at life that God blessed me with. Unfortunately, many addicts lose their life before being given a chance at a life they don't know exists. Together we can make a difference, for at least one person, and that is why I am raising money that will go to the Jake Koenigsdorf Foundation. Your contribution will help give someone a chance. Whether it's a small donation now, and more when I finish, or even only donating once I finish, or a huge donation for the mere thought of trying, every little bit will make a difference! The Mission of the JKF is to bridge the gap for those affected and effected by Substance Use Disorder (Addiction) who are ready and willing to seek a solution. We are reducing the barriers through education and connection while providing resources to those without.
