Grab your sunglasses! Heidi and The Sunshines are going to brighten up the stage AND your heart! Friends, Heidi Woo and Sung Hee An, have teamed up with The Sunshines to create an act that is sure to bring you to your feet!
Heidi is a self-described, ceramic artist, therapist, proud mama to Benny, cancer survivor, and uke player! She is a vibrant and active community member volunteering for MFEE, AAPI Montclair, and MHA Essex Morris.
Sung Hee An is a singer, loving mother of three littles, former school teacher, and avid crafter and gardener!
The Sunshines- Annie, Aya, Benny, Emma, Maddie, Olivia, Philip, and Serena attend various schools in Montclair and its surrounding area including Jin-A School, Watchung School, Bradford Elementary, and Nishuane School.
Heidi is an active member of AAPI Montclair. AAPI Montclair is a 501(c)3 nonprofit representing Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders and families in Montclair, and the surrounding area. They are a brave space to share experiences and help unify voices to create action and representation for communities. AAPI Montclair's mission is to create a more inclusive Montclair by uplifting the varied experiences of its AAPI* communities and promoting awareness and education around AAPI culture and history. AAPI Montclair encourages structural change, builds solidarity among communities, and fights for equity for all oppressed groups while celebrating AAPI cultures.
