Leslie Masuzzo is a beloved 3rd grade teacher at Hillside School by day and a chanteuse by night! We first heard her sing when she appeared with her son, Benjamin, at ShowDown in 2018 and we are thrilled to have her back. Leslie has worked in the Montclair Public School district for the past 15 years. Her son, Benjamin, came up through Rand, Bullock, Renaissance and is a 2020 graduate of MHS, so she knows the Montclair schools from all perspectives, and is a proud supporter of MFEE's work with our children.

Leslie is a community helper both in and out of her classroom. Each year, she hosts “Take a Veteran to School Day” where she invites veterans to come into the classroom in person or remotely to describe their service to our country. They are honored by poems and a play and are thanked for their service.
