Meet Ben, a 21 year old Israeli evacuee battling stage 4 cancer.
In the aftermath of October 7th, Ben's family of seven was evacuated from their home in northern Israel. The rest of their community was evacuated to Teveria, but Ben's family begged to be placed in a hotel closer to a hospital in case his condition worsened.
A few weeks after the war began, Ben's medical state took a turn for the worse and he was rushed to the hospital. Since then he has been hospitalized, and is being treated with an experimental drug that doctors hope will save his life.
Now the hotel the family has been staying out is no longer able to accommodate them, and they find themselves without the basic necessities they need to get by.
Ben's family is moving into an entirely unfurnished, empty apartment this week.
The funds raised will go to providing the family with the basic necessities they need to furnish the apartment, and give them some respite in their struggle to afford Ben's medical treatments, rent, groceries and more.
Join us in being the support system that Ben's family so desperately needs.
