"After seeing my grandparents age through the system and now seeing my parents aging, this was the perfect opportunity for me to raise funds for an important community need.  We all will be there one day, and I hope I'll have the help when needed."

Mike is the morning meteorologist for WBIR Channel 10. He has been forecasting the weather for 22 years for local TV stations from Colorado to Knoxville with some time on the National platform with WeatherNationTV.

His original career goal was to become a pilot.  Ultimately he ended up going with journalism which led him into the weather part of TV. With the dream of always wanting to fly, two years ago he finally made that dream a reality and obtained his private pilot's license. Weather and flying are his passions.

Mike is a dad to two boys (7 and 9) and has been married to his best friend for 14 years.
