So Amazing! Spaces

Transforming Learning Spaces Through Art

Our Mission

We are striving to provide culturally reflective art for learning spaces, enhancing literacy rates, and fostering participation in STEAM and history programs.

Challenges Faced During the Pandemic

Many learning spaces suspended services or moved to remote teaching models during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Underserved communities with limited resources faced unique difficulties.
Children from diverse backgrounds, including Black, Hispanic, low-income, disabled, and non-English-speaking, were disproportionately affected.
Potential negative ripple effects on academic outcomes (dropout rates, high school graduation, college acceptance) and emotional well-being (self-esteem, identity, motivation).

Our Approach - Empowering Change: Adding Representation to Learning Spaces

We aim to introduce art featuring diverse children engaged in learning activities, promoting relatability.
Research supports that representation leads to increased engagement and academic success.
Learning spaces encompass classrooms, libraries, after-school programs, and tutoring spaces, nurturing holistic learning environments.

Measuring Positive Change

By adding culturally reflective art to learning spaces we believe we can achieve positive improvement in the following areas:

Enhanced school attendance
Decreased dropout rates
Improved test scores
Increased high school graduation rates
Higher college acceptance rates
Reduced crime rates
