Help Build the Foundation of Independent Southern Arizona Media

SoAzCINEMA (Southern Arizona Community of Independent News & Entertainment Media Artists) is working to create a sustainable platform where independent filmmakers, journalists, storytellers, photographers, musicians, and content creators can collaborate, develop projects, and bring Southern Arizona stories to local, national, and global audiences.

To establish the organization and begin serving the community, we are seeking seed funding to cover essential startup and infrastructure costs. These foundational expenses include:

IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit application and registration fees
State and local organizational filing costs
Website design, development, hosting, and maintenance
Domain registration and digital communication tools
Office supplies and administrative materials
Software and technology necessary for organizational operations
Marketing and outreach materials
Record-keeping, accounting, and compliance expenses
Initial equipment and organizational infrastructure

While these expenses may not be the most visible part of our work, they are critical to building a stable and transparent organization capable of supporting independent media projects throughout Southern Arizona.

Your contribution helps create the framework that will allow SoAzCINEMA to pursue grants, develop educational opportunities, support content creators, document regional stories, and expand access to independent news and entertainment media across our communities.

Every contribution, regardless of size, helps move us one step closer to establishing a lasting organization dedicated to creativity, collaboration, free expression, and authentic storytelling.

Together, we can build the foundation for a stronger independent media future in Southern Arizona.

Support SoAzCINEMA and help launch the next chapter of independent storytelling.
