Support Philly Solidarity

Our mission is to amplify and unite AAPI voices, build understanding and solidarity across communities through grassroots organizing, and inspire positive cultural shifts as we make activism accessible and dismantle societal discrimination. Change happens when we stand together.

*Current local initiatives in action (driven directly by the requests from the community):

Community Safety

  • Curating community videos on AAPI hate to present at the upcoming Mayor's Town Hall
  • Working with the School District, local transportation organizations, the Police Department, and most importantly, THE COMMUNITY to implement proactive and preventative safety measures that address AAPI hate and racism concerns as students return to school
  • Developing programs to educate the community on how to be in command of their safety and their surroundings through proactive and preventative measures

Youth Programming

  • Building youth-centered programs that promote solidarity and activate youth leadership through apprenticeship/mentorship opportunities across various pursuits (e.g. sports, culture/arts, business)

Community Collaboration

  • Collaborating in solidarity with other local nonprofits and businesses by helping catalyze initiatives that work to empower individuals/groups experiencing marginalization, de-stigmatize mental health, and ensure more equitable communities
