ABOUT THE CAUSE

No child should have to sleep on the floor. Yet in our surrounding communities, over 15,000 children do not have a bed of their own. Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) – Buffalo, a volunteer-driven and donation-supported 501(c)3 organization, is dedicated to changing that reality.

Through the generosity of our community, SHP-Buffalo has already provided nearly 7,000 children with a fully furnished bed—including a frame, mattress pad, mattress, comforter, pillow, and sheet set.

But our mission continues, not just in Buffalo and surrounding towns, but now reaching Niagara Falls, Batavia and Lockport areas. Each bed, from raw materials to hardware, to bedding to delivery-related expenses, costs approximately $300.00.

Your personal support would go a long way of ensuring that “No Kid Sleeps on the Floor in OUR Town.”

DONATION: $75.00 per bowler (includes bowling and buffet dinner; Cash Bar)

Imagine the fun we can have:

· Up to six bowlers per lane; fun bowling games throughout the evening;

· Looking for SHP “regulars” but encourage SHP “newbies” (ie. family, neighbors);

· Fill your own lane or Event Committee will ‘mix and match;”

· Get creative when forming your groups (ie. Each Delivery Team, Blue Shirts, Wednesday Super Sanders, Community or Church Group, Ambassadors);
