Registration is required. Speaker series is no charge for Havurah members and their guests. Optional donations are always gladly accepted to help cover the costs of refreshments and speaker fees.

After 1492-97, Iberian Jews and conversos threaded escape routes from Spain and Portugal through the Azores and Canaries, then on to Amsterdam and seventeenth-century England. This talk follows merchants and kin as they exploited island hubs, imperial gray zones, and Atlantic winds to rebuild communal life - spinning trade, marriage, and ritual into a resilient Sephardic world.
