2025 Fellow Sponsorship

The Ventures Partners Fellows come from all walks of life, bringing identities, backgrounds, and experiences rarely represented in the capital allocation world. Within the 7-month program, the internship stands out as one of the most transformative stages. Fellows get a chance to apply their newfound education and skills in real-life settings, providing venture funds with sourcing, screening, and due diligence.

We are honored to not only train intersectionality diverse people in the ropes of capital allocation but also to place them as interns with diverse and emerging funds. In 2024, 13 out of 22 of our internship placements were with diverse/emerging funds. These placements have proven to be incredible, hands-on training grounds, where our Fellows can have a real impact and grow enduring relationships in a setting that truly sees and values their lived experience.

The Fellowship is offered at no cost to participants, which is critical to our ethos of removing traditional wealth and status barriers that have long limited the diversity within venture funds. Moving forward, we are also working to guarantee stipend funding for all Fellows– as unpaid internships remain a staggering inequity favoring those with access to wealth.

If you hosted one of our talented 2024 cohort Fellows, we’re asking to consider paying it forward by sponsoring a Fellow for our 2025 cohort. The average cost of supporting a Fellow from start to finish in the 7-month program is $5,500 and internship stipends will be $2,500. As diverse and emerging managers yourselves, please know that financial support is not a requirement for having participated in the program or requesting an intern in the future. We are here to support your evolution by providing you with access to enthusiastic, highly trained interns. In the spirit of collaboration and reciprocity, this is one way you can support us!

If you are able support this campaign financially (at ANY amount), your donation will:

  • Be 100% tax deductible
  • Support the direct costs associated with supporting a Fellow in the 2025 cohort
  • Help us place more Fellows at diverse and emerging fund settings

Thank you for being a part of our community!
