With our roots dating back to the very first Chicago Pride Parade in 1979, Lakeside Pride Music Ensembles has been at the heart of the local LGBTQ community. Our mission is to use the universal language of music to spread a message of love and acceptance. Following three years of unprecedented growth and recognition, now is the time for us to expand our reach as we – quite literally – sound the trumpet and help lead the charge toward social justice in Chicago and across the country.

Through the generous financial support of individuals, companies, foundations, and government agencies, Lakeside Pride presents an annual season that features our Jazz Orchestra, Marching Band, Pops Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and Chamber Ensembles. However, to continue presenting concerts and community events that bring people together, we need your support.

Through the support of generous individuals and businesses, we are able to entertain Chicagoland and provide a community space for LGBTQ+ and allied people to be lifelong musicians. By sponsoring Lakeside Pride, you can become an integral part of mission in the musical arts.
