Sandy's Garden Sponsorship Opportunities

About Sandy’s Garden

At Sandy’s Garden, we believe no one in Kent County should go to bed hungry. We’re a 501(c)(3) nonprofit growing fresh, nutritious fruits and vegetables on a 3.5-acre farm in Kent County, Maryland. Everything we harvest is donated to local food pantries, including the Maryland Food Bank, to help ensure our neighbors have access to wholesome food.

Founded by Sandy Zappia, a lifelong gardener and educator, Sandy’s Garden was inspired by a simple act of giving—donating surplus produce to a local pantry and discovering the overwhelming need for fresh food in our community.

Today, with the support of volunteers and partners, Sandy’s Garden continues to grow—not just crops, but hope, health, and connection. Together, we’re planting the seeds for a healthier Kent County.

Why Sponsor Sandy's Garden

Your sponsorship goes beyond feel-good giving—it fills pantries with real food, grown right here in Kent County. Every dollar you contribute supports essential tools, supplies, and infrastructure that keep our small farm running and our community fed. From irrigation systems to seeds, chickens to honey jars, your support helps nourish hundreds of families in need.

Sponsorships are tangible and transparent. You’ll know exactly what your dollars are funding—and see the impact as vegetables are planted, harvested, and delivered.

Whether you’re an individual, family, or business, your sponsorship is a chance to give back in a visible, meaningful way. Some opportunities even include naming rights, allowing your support to be recognized and celebrated throughout the season.

Grow with us—and help build a healthier, hunger-free Kent County.

When you sponsor Sandy’s Garden, you’re not only helping to feed our community—you’re also celebrated as a vital partner in our mission.
