First Witness Child Advocacy Center's vision is of a society that supports children and ends child abuse.

Our community recognizes child abuse as one of the nation's most pressing social concerns, we have made strides both in prevention and in providing appropriate responses. Our unique model is both child-centric and culturally affirming. The foundation of our approach is the multidisciplinary response team (MDT) – a coalition of professionals who come together with a singular aim: to keep the best interests of children and families at the heart of their processes.

The heartbreak of abuse is not just physical but profoundly emotional. A child's stolen dignity and self-worth can only truly be restored with genuine hope and trust. First Witness is dedicated to rebuilding this hope.

Moreover, we firmly believe that prevention is paramount. By equipping schools and community agencies with the right tools, we aim to empower our community to listen, believe, and respond.

In 2024, we are celebrating the profound effects already felt by our new home - renovated to meet our needs at the culmination of our Restoring Hope Capital Campaign.
