Yet Stand Inc. is celebrating an incredible 10 years of, Yet I Stand on stage! We are also raising funds for our nonprofit Yet Stand, Inc. The afternoon will be a culmination of live performances - song, dance, mime, & fashion!!

Our first performance of Yet I Stand was July 8, 2015, in Riverdale, MD. The stage play has been performing yearly throughout the DMV. Yet I Stand is my story, my song and an unforgettable evening of a true-life drama! Audiences are captivated by the play, as they are immersed in a world of emotions, and they leave the show filled with hope. Yet I Stand receives amazing reviews; for example; "A thousand thank you's. My sister came to the play today and she was truly impacted by and I'm so thankful that you had the ministers and other social workers there as she was able to speak to them and I could see that this day marked a new page for her healing journey.”

The theme for the evening is "All The Pieces of Me". When I was a child I loved dancing, singing, and fashion. I dreamt of being a dancer on Broadway, the thought brought me so much joy. Sadly, due to trauma and lost hope, I let go of my dreams, as unfortunately many young people do. On July 26, all of my loves will come together again!

We are also raising funds for our non-profit Yet Stand, Inc. We are dedicated to empowering youth (age 11 - 18), women, and families who have endured traumatic experiences. Our work includes addressing trauma and its effects, domestic and sexual abuse, physical, mental, and emotional abuse, substance abuse, and more. Our ultimate goal is to enhance individual well-being and contribute to the overall health and stability of our communities.
