In 2019, two hearts found each other while serving at Eden Children's Village in Zimbabwe. Stanford and Naomi discovered more than love – they found a shared calling that would shape their future together. After two years of ministry and courtship, they married in April 2021, joining their lives and their commitment to God's work.

Stanford's connection to Eden runs deeper than most. Having grown up within the village itself, he returned as a teaching Pastor at Eden Ministries, bringing a unique perspective that only someone who lived this journey could offer. To the children currently in Eden's care, Stanford represents hope – living proof that their circumstances don't define their destiny. His ministry extends throughout the Eden community, reaching children, caregivers, and families alike.

While Stanford teaches and pastors, Naomi has embraced her role as mother to their two young children, Jedediah and Eleanor. Yet ministry remains woven into their family life. Each week, the Phiri family visits the village together, and the children from Eden come to their home in return. These aren't formal ministry events – they're authentic relationships, the kind where kids help with dinner preparations and families share stories on the front porch.
